Workshop on non-destructive leak detection technologies at ARTC in Singapore
Advanced Remanufacturing & Technology Center (ARTC) in Singapore, will held a workshop tomorrow on the 12th of March about the developments in the field of non-destructive leak detection possibilities within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) market.
Within the FMCG market, various filling and packaging machines are used to produce all different types of packaging. Think about sachets, bags, pouches or stick-packs filled with: powder, pasta, gel or liquids. Packaging inspection is a crucial bottleneck. Within the FMCG market there is a growing demand for non-destructive leak detection systems that can identify all sources of package failure (leak and air tightness).
Oxipack – The knowledge partner
Oxipack will be present as a knowledge partner on the topic of non-destructive leak detection technologies. Oxipack will also give a presentation that will be held from 14:00 to 15:00 (local time). During the presentation, the following topics will be discussed: general trends and developments in the field of packaging within the FMCG market, the solutions in the field of (non-) destructive leak detection technologies and their validation process.
The Advanced Remanufacturing & Technology Center (ARTC) is a platform that is built on public-private partnerships. The ARTC is led by the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A * STAR), in collaboration with the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore.
ARTC has more than 65 members, varying from multinationals to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). ARTC focuses on advanced production and remanufacturing and serves to accelerate the transfer of innovation from applied research to industrial applications.
