The unique shape of these discs, which included a dosing system, required a custom-designed cover.
Innovative Solution: Prototyping and Implementing Non-Destructive Leak Detection
After extensive research, the Oxipack team developed a prototype demonstrating the effectiveness of Oxipack’s non-destructive leak detection on these uniquely shaped products. Impressed by the initial results, the client acquired two Oxipack leak testers for ongoing quality assurance.
New Challenge: Determining Pressure Thresholds for Seal Integrity
The project's success led to a new challenge: determining the pressure threshold that would cause the seals on the discs to burst. Rising to the occasion, Oxipack engineered a novel testing solution integrating a leak tester with a three-step burst tester. This innovative system applies varying pressure levels—light, moderate, and extreme—to identify the structural weaknesses of the discs.

This advanced testing method ensures the client can uphold their promise of delivering the highest quality dishwasher products on the market.
