Oxipack Leverages Embassy Connections for Global Expansion

On March 30th, at the ambassador conference in The Hague, Oxipack participated in a unique speed dating session with three Dutch embassies. The results were promising, paving the way for new international opportunities.

Networking at the Ambassador Conference

Once a year, all 140 Dutch Ambassadors and Consuls General gather to discuss and strategize. This event includes interactions with the Dutch business community, providing companies like Oxipack an invaluable opportunity to connect with the global network of Dutch embassies. These introductions by embassies facilitate high-quality contacts with foreign companies, which is crucial for expanding business reach.

Connecting with Key Embassies

Oxipack typically engages with Q&A staff, R&D teams, and factory managers seeking to enhance their leak detection methods. However, there are times when meeting specific manufacturers in the food industry is beneficial. In such instances, introductions by the Dutch Embassy, the official representative of The Netherlands, can be incredibly valuable.

During the speed dating session, Serge Smit consulted with the Dutch Consul General of Chicago, the Consul General of the United Arab Emirates, and the Ambassador of Singapore. These meetings have already yielded results, with Smit securing an appointment in Chicago this very week with a major food producer.

Benefits of Embassy Introductions

Meeting decision-makers in person is a significant advantage for Oxipack. As an award winner of the Dutch Trade Mission Fund in 2015, Oxipack appreciates the support from Dutch embassies in establishing these critical connections. The ability to directly engage with influential contacts accelerates the company’s efforts to introduce its innovative leak detection solutions to new markets.

The participation in the ambassador conference has opened doors for Oxipack to expand its international presence. By leveraging the network of Dutch embassies, Oxipack can establish meaningful relationships with key players in the global food industry, further enhancing its growth and innovation.
