Oxipack's Expansion: A New Era of Innovation and Growth

Exactly two years after its last move, Oxipack has expanded into a new building that is three times larger. This significant upgrade offers ample space for the developments initiated over the past four years and accommodates the company's future growth. With increasing reliance from large packaging industries and food producers, Oxipack is poised to meet the rising demand for high-quality leak detection solutions.

Expanding Capabilities for Growing Demand

The new premises provide the necessary infrastructure to support the expanding needs of Oxipack’s clients. Many industries now seek 100% leak detection solutions to meet higher quality standards. These companies require a knowledgeable partner capable of developing, engineering, and manufacturing advanced leak detection equipment.

Friends of Oxipack

The rapid growth of Oxipack is attributed not only to its dedicated team but also to the valuable support from strategic thinkers, fellow entrepreneurs, and active helpers. During the grand opening on January 20th, Serge Smit unveiled a photo board featuring the ‘Friends of Oxipack’: Thijs Aarts, René Piron, Arjan Muis, Frank Borsboom, Charles Kuitenbrouwer, and Arie Vonk. Smit acknowledged their crucial contributions, stating, “Partly thanks to these friends, Oxipack is what we are now, thank you so much!” These friends will have an honorary place in the new building.

Two Industrial Halls for Comprehensive Operations

Located in the industrial area of ‘Doornkade’ along the ring road in Houten, near the A27 exit, the new facility boasts two large production halls. One hall will concentrate on processes surrounding stand-alone leak detection equipment. The second hall will provide space to develop, build, and test various inline leak detection lines simultaneously, ensuring that Oxipack can meet diverse client needs efficiently.

Vision for the Future

Thijs Aarts, one of the ‘Friends of Oxipack’ and a visionary engineer rooted in the coffee industry, has long envisioned the future of leak detection. Thirty years ago, he anticipated solutions to challenges that have only recently emerged in the packaging market. Aarts predicts, “The packaging industry is heading towards integrated, fully automatic inline quality test systems. The quality manager of the factory will be able to log on remotely and monitor the performance of each packing line. With one glance, they will directly supervise all quality indicators for packaging, including leak detection.”

Oxipack’s move to a larger facility marks a significant milestone in its journey towards innovation and growth. With the support of its team and the invaluable contributions of its friends, Oxipack is set to lead the future of leak detection, providing advanced, comprehensive solutions to meet the evolving needs of the packaging industry.
